 Located in the historic downtown area of Taos, New
Mexico and operated as an art gallery since 1950, Nichols Taos Fine Art
Gallery is an art destination for seasoned, novice and first time
collectors alike.
We proudly exhibit oil , watercolors, pastels, pencil and charcoals of artists included in many of America's most prestigious art organizations including Signature and Master Signature Members Oil Painters of America, the Pastel Society of America, the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, the National Acrylic Painters Association, the Knickerbockers Artists, the National Association of Women Artists and the Western Artist of America to name a few. |

In the late 1980s, Morel moved from Maryland to Austin, Texas, where he worked as an illustrator for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. He later quit the position to pursue fine art full-time, working first in watercolor and then oil. He now lives in Taos, New Mexico, where he has access to one of his favorite subjects to paint: adobe structures. He is a winner of the 2002 Region II Award for Arts in the Parks.
