Judge of Awards Ron Barsano
Ron Barsano's love of fine art began at age 5 in Chicago, Illinois. At that time he made a decision to grow up, go to The American Academy of Fine Art in Chicago and study with William Mosby, which is what he did. He attended the Academy from 1962 - 1967, where he won the prestigious Mosby Scholarship. His desire to leave the city and establish himself in an art community influenced his decision to settle in Taos, New Mexico in 1970. He was a co-founder of the Taos 6 Contemporary Artists in the early 1970s.
